I am terrible at math. I was warned that this would be the case, as I spent most math classes from seventh grade forward hiding out at the back of the classroom, scribbling fiction. If a train leaves Boston at 10 a.m. traveling west at 100 mph and another train leaves Chicago at 11 a.m. traveling east at 80 mph, at what point will their paths cross? I sometimes wish I knew. I caution young writers to PAY ATTENTION in all their classes.
