Animator turned children's illustrator and author.
My first book, "The Boy With Pink Hair" by Perez Hilton will be released by Penguin in September 2011. I live and work in Brooklyn, NY with only fictitious pets, as real ones would likely wreck my paintings. My paintings are gouache on Arches or gouache on board, sometimes with a little or a lot of pencil. Inspiration often comes from the work of James Marshall, Olle Eksell, Mary Blair, Maira Kalman, Ludwig Bemelmans, Saul Steinberg and Miroslav Sasek, and anything showing at the Jonathan Levine gallery in NYC.
