Hi! I am new to this site and am still learning how to use this contraption. Hope to learn how to write querys and submit them to agents and/or publishers. Any suggestions for reference materials, etc., would be appreciated. Rick

I would like to pick your brain for a minute...
I am interested in becoming an editor (I hope for a book company or magazine), and I guess my biggest problem is that I don't know what different kinds of editor positions there are. Could you help me with this issue? Also, if you have any advice for an aspiring editor or if you have someone you could refer me to, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

It is imposible to be deleted as a user of JacketFlap if you want to. This user wants to quit his account at JacketFlap but there is no way to do it unless using drastic ways. Sadly.
All information that is put into this system will probably stay here forever, so be careful with what you say!
DELETE ME FROM THIS SITE, please!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Tracy, Would it be totally impossible to get a new 'Joe Hemingmouse' cartoon for the homepage. Or maybe feature something else. Soon it'll actually have a one-year anniversary. ~GG

Thanks for the welcome. It would be cool to have a set of directions on how to optimize use of Jacketflap via other social sites, or whatever. I am a writer and intend to get very busy in marketing my material soon, and it would facilitate things considerably to have a simplified roadmap. Actually, this would be great as something you would offer all your newcomers.

With thousands of "friends" I can't imagine you get a chance to look at everyone's websites, but I thought I'd tell you anyway that my website had a glitch over the last 48 hours. It's fixed now: www.robocosm.com

By the way I have a 3yr old daughter, my wife and I make sure she has plenty of books about to read. I've been in the illustration game for over 15 yrs but have spent most of that as a concept artist for the theming and Entertainment industry-however now I would really like to do some children's books - I have a good creative style for book work and have some ideas for writing my own book too. that's why I'm here! anyway have a great day and hope to chat soon!
