I havn't contacted an agent. I did some research and came to the conclusion that you needed to have several things ready for publication. Novels, or children's books, I presume. I have (I think I told you) a children's book out to a publisher. I'm waiting to hear from them. That's the key word isn't it? Waiting. Anyway, I'm working on a young adult novel now. I've had article's published and I wrote a column for the Mansfield Ohio News Journal for four years. And I have some poems I've entered into contests. If you'll look into back issues of Writer's digest (I think about three issues back) they listed twenty agents open to new writer's. However, I need one that will represent children and adult writing. Fiction and non-fiction. I'm a 63 year old retired Realtor that lives on 20 acres of woods. I had quit writing for some years (well, quit sending anyways) but I now that I have time, I have to write and I have to send. I won't give up. Nice talking to you. We did extrememly well, and sold it just before the financial implosion.
