I have some very exciting news, as the title of the blog suggests. ‘Believing in Horses’, the forthcoming new title from my publishing company, JB Max Publishing, written by Valerie Ormond, will be read out loud in Maryland schools by Maryland State Senator Edward Reilly for the Read Across America program. Valerie and I are both extremely excited.

The page-turning storyline includes sixth-grader Sadie Navarro speaking out about the unwanted horse problem in America through grassroots politics, and I can’t think of a better introduction for the book than for it to be read in schools by a state senator.

The book is in the final stages of editing, or should I say the accelerated stages of editing, to meet the deadline for Read Accross America. That means that the book will enter the world on March 1, 2010.
