A pound on the door startled me. I must have dosed off for awhile. I thought that maybe if I ignored it, they'd go away. That didn't happen. Whoever it was, was about to break down my door.
"Miranda! Miranda! Are you in there?"
"Mike...is that you?" Suddenly, the door came crashing in. It was Jordan from San Diego.
"Why haven't you answered my phone calls? How long have you been in here? You drank all of this? (picking up the empty bottle of wine that had fallen onto the floor. "Are you alright?"
"If you stop...yelling at me, I think...I'll be all right!" I slurred as I tried to get up out of the tub.
He grabbed the towel, pulled me up out of the water, and wrapped the towel around me. He kept trying to get me to look into his eyes.
"Are you okay, Miranda?"
I just looked up at him in despair. I didn't say a word. I was so groggy I couldn't say much if I wanted to. He gently picked me up and carried me to my bed.

I have a daughter and I've been writing since her birth. She took notice, and now at the encouraged age of six, and with never really pushing her to write, she writes little stores all of the time, and I marvel.

P.S. I see on your profile that you are a teacher. I admire teachers. My daughter is just out of kindergarten and her teachers made a DVD of the school year with pictures and background music. Itt brought me to tears. Children are such gifts so God blessed them and may he also bless all of the wonderful teachers out there.

My goal is exposure not profit, which is why I'll try to find my readers the best deals possible even if it's at a loss to myself.

Today I'm making the final grammatical proofreadings to Volume 1 and working on my cover designs. I was also going to update the website with the first of my own illustrations but the scanner is acting funny.

Subconsciously I must have been absorbing what my wife would write to me about their personalities ans when I cam home I was like wow my kids match up with my characters!
