Hello Kyra, I really like the teal cover. The design really gives the book the feel of an adventure and for me the first thing I focused on was the title and then the image, which I like. I also like the back cover. The yellow background and the framing of the text really adds interest.

Greetings Kyra, after reading your post it saddened me deeply. As I loaded up my car with several copies of my book in hopes for a shot of recognition, I believed that the CSK committee would rip open my envelope with excitement. Now I'm inclined to believe that my books were put into a bin marked u... more

Hi Kyra,

Yes I do recommend book trailers as a marketing tool. They are commercials that can potentially reach thousands of people. So great to hear from you. :)

Soooo happy for you Kyra and much success on your sales. Currently, I'm hard at work on a novel, but hope to have time to read some of your work, eventually. Bless you.

AWESOME! I just checked out your new book! It's fabulous. I am taking a Children's Literature course at UCF this semester. We're required to read 32 children's books. I'd love to showcase your book in class. Good luck and God bless!

Kyra, the reviews on amazon are wonderful. So you are a scholar as well as an artist! It sounds like this will be a great resource for classes in both Women's Studies and Black Studies. Thanks for responding. Yes, the squares are very. I probably should hire somebody to sew the squares together for me one day. I'll probably never get around to it.

Hello Kyra, and that's a pretty name. Thanks for chosing me to be your friend.
Quilting huh? That sounds interesting. One of my aunts did quilting. I still have one of her quilts she made before she died.
Well, have a blessed Monday. :o)
