I did take lessons years ago, but dropped out when Thurman Munson crashed in his jet. As a ballplayer, I thought, if a pro can crash, I don't need to do this. I'm still here, pal...and smilin'...leave the flyin' to someone else and Kay and I sip Mimosa's and enjoy the view.

Okay, we keep sending queries, writing, and reading...like practicing for a sport. In my case, golf...I do think we have good stories, good characters, and a great ending.
