About Eleanor
Eleanor McLeod is from Swansea in Wales and it was when she began her primary school teaching in 1966 that she started writing poems for her pupils. Her colleagues urged her to publish some of her large collection and so in 2005 her first collection of poems "Poems for Children to Enjoy and Teachers too" was published and became an instant success.
