This is a short story the kids read, which teaches them subtraction, measuring, time, height, and weight in a fun way.

The kids in the story have a wonder plant that grows up to six feet tall, and produces 88 pounds of tomatoes. They decide to have a neighborhood party and use the tomatoes to make spaghetti, pizza & tomato salad. That's where the math comes into action.
