Abigail Alverson knows she should pay more attention in church, but she always has more interesting things going on in her head. Her patron saint, St. Abigail from the Old Testament, is an inspiration to her, and when Abigail's priest Fr. Andrew shows her a beautiful icon of the saint, Abigail just knows that it's exactly what she needs to stay out of trouble. But Fr. Andrew says he can't get her the icon unless she works to help people with their problems. That sounds like a mission for Abigail, and she brings four other girls from church on board to make it happen. Together, they become the Every Tuesday Girls Club, but when they begin working on their own problems, they find that they've got more than they bargained for -- computer game matches, family feuds, singing lessons, tricks, chases and even a crime to solve.
