MoreType Stories of the World for Little Folk is a book for the primary study of geography. I ts aim is to interest the child in his study of the world both for the present and the future that he may learn to adapt himself through understanding conditions at home and abroad. An effort has been made to broaden the childs vision, arouse his interest and stimulate his imagination in the study of the world. The book is divided into three parts: the study of the natural phenomena surrounding us or The World in Which We Live ;how we respond to the world about us or How We Make Use of Things in the World ;how other people make use of things in their part of the world and manage to live and contribute to life in general or Boys and Girls in Other Lands .T he experiments in Part I may or may not be used but their use in the guise of play will be found interesting, practical and instructive. Suggestions to Teachers will be found together with some working plans at the close of the series of lessons.
