Here is the recently discovered, true origin of the first Guardian of Childhood-The Man in the Moon. Did you know that MiM (as he's called) wasn't always in the moon? He was once a little boy who never had a care, never had a nightmare, and sailed through the cosmos with his loving parents in the Moonclipper, the most beautiful ship of the Golden Age.

But when Pitch, the King of Nightmares, learns that MiM has never had a bad dream, he vows to capture the lad. His goal? To turn young MiM into a prince of nightmares.
