Little Mouse walked for a long time. She asked the flowers if they knew of an empty house, but they paid no attention to her. She asked the snail and the rabbit, but they were no help either. Little Mouse was about to give up when she saw a house-a read house that could be filled with danger: a cat, traps smelling of delicious cheese, a mouse-eating owl in the attic. But Little Mouse decided to take her chances. And there, on a table, was a picture of a house. How Little Mouse uses courage and quick wits to turn that picture into the perfect house for a mouse is wonderfully satisfying story that's loaded with charm.
