Yvonne Higgins is a modern witch but her family's deadly past is about to catch up with her.
At rural Tintern House, Yvonne and her best friend, Joan, join their school friends at a summer camp for artists led by their teacher and mentor, Ms. O'Neill. Yvonne keeps the secret that Tintern in ancient times was the scene of a life and death struggle between her family and evil shamans. From the very first night, however, she finds that the evil has never been vanquished and she becomes the target of relentless attacks by a monstrous wolf enslaved to dark magic that exists just to hunt her down.
Joan feels helpless as Yvonne is attacked in ways she can't defend her against yet which bring out powers Yvonne never knew she had. She also feels jealous of Michael, the local boy that Yvonne falls in love with but whose family is somehow involved in the history of Tintern House and the persecution of witches. With the three young people trapped in the house by storms and suspicious adults it is up to Yvonne, with little control over her powers, to stand against evil that has been preparing its revenge for years.
