From the supplier: The Webster-Kirkwood Times received several letters in reaction to editor-in-chief Don Corrigan's editorial in the Feb 26, 1999 issue on allegations regarding the sexual preference of one of the 'Teletubbies,' Tinky Winky. Corrigan quoted Clint McCann, a professor at the Eden Theological Seminary, as saying that inclusivity and openness should be encouraged. Tinky Winky, who wears the gay pride color of purple and has an antenna shaped like the gay pride symbol of the triangle, is alleged to have become a gay role model and has been adopted by gay groups all over the world as their favorite character.
