12/11/2007 David Davis said: Jazz Cats was based on a trip I took to New Orleans when I was eight years old. I saw the folks playing jazz on the streets and drew pictures of them in my Big Chief Tablet. Years later I made them into cats because my daughter had a cat named Delilah.
