Lisa is a wife to Jesse Delgado of twenty-three years and the mother of three daughters and two sons. She is a grandmother of nine and, as a career, she has been a cleaning lady for seventeen years. She believes that she was "maid to praise Jesus." Lisa struggled with fear and was paralyzed even when pursuing daily activities. Her depression was so overwhelming that she almost gave up, but her love for the Lord and hope in Him is what kept her steadfast. She held fast to His promise that He will never forget her. Lisa has always dreamed of becoming a writer, but circumstance never allowed her to pursue an education. So she wrote from her heart, what the Holy Spirit inspired her to write. One poem she wrote inspired by God, "Why Should I Spread My Wings to Fly," the Lord gave her the courage to send to PublishAmerica, where it was accepted. Through that poem was birthed Out of the Pit with Mizar and Millo.
