A Stranger on Planet Earth is the story about a young man from space. He had gone into the forbidden room and read some ancient documents. The penalty for this crime was to either be killed or to be banished from his home planet. With a mixture of excitement and fear, Zerk climbed into his spaceship and was rocketed forward on his dangerous journey to the planet called Earth. Luck was with him, and he landed safely in a plowed field on the Anderson farm. It would take all of the knowledge he had learned to apply it to the situations he would encounter on the Anderson's farm. He marveled at the differences in the attitude of the people and the warmth of the family units. Perhaps this was not the terrible sentence that he had imagined it to be when the verdict for his crime had been guilty, banished forever. The Andersons help Zerk adjust to the small town and farm community. He learns about life from a totally new perspective.
