From the onset of his ordeal, events taking place, causes him to begin suspecting that the law enforcement agencies doing the investigating are involved in the crime and cover-up. This leaves Maddox with nowhere to turn for help. Alone and ignorant in the ways of the streets, armed only with unwavering determination to see his daughter safely returned, Maddox sets out on his mission. He had no answer for the persistent question in his mind, "Against the unknown, and the insurmountable odds he would be facing, could he succeed, or would he fail in the rescue attempt and the return to safety of his daughter?"
