Having a family is one of the most important things in a child's life. Knowing where you belong and the people who love you can make a very important impact on a child. Today's families are all different. Whether you have a small family or a big one doesn't matter, but accepting your loved ones for who they are does matter. Love is the one thing that matters most. I hope that when parents read this book to their children, they can help them to learn and understand the importance of family. I am so lucky to be in a family full of love and acceptance. My husband, Del, is my soul mate and best friend. I think there are only a few things that have made my life incredible, and meeting my husband was one of them. Giving birth to my three sons was also unforgettable. They have truly changed my life forever-and for the better. I have also discovered that being a grandparent is something that is beyond compare to anything else in life. I have been blessed, and for that I will always be thankful.
