Curly Top is an illustrated children's book. The theme of the book surrounds Curly's frustration and dislike of her beautiful, bouncy curls which constantly gets in her way when she plays.She convinces her Nana (through emotion) to straighen her hair. Nana complies and this brings Curly great joy. As she plays however, her curls reappear and Curly's has to again deal with them.
