"First Meeting" tells the story of how Swee'pea and Peapoddy meet and begin their friendship. When Swee'pea's Mommy brings home an unwanted yet whimsical plush toy named Peapoddy, the spirit of Swee'pea's imagination causes Peapoddy to spring to life. This marks the beginning of their fun and friendship as they discover and learn together.

In "Clean Up . . . Clean Up . . ." Swee'pea decides to clean up her new-found friend by giving him a bath. Peapoddy's antics begin when he giggles causing soap bubbles to come out of his ears. When he is hung on the clothesline to dry he performs his own backyard circus. Swee'pea is amazed and amused in this story of good, clean fun!

In "Tea-Time Tricks" it is time for Swee'pea to introduce Peapoddy to her friends. This important occasion calls for a tea party! Peapoddy gladly accepts the responsibility of planing party games. With Peapoddy in charge all are sure to have fun! The party guests soon arrive but Peapoddy is no where to be found. Just as Swee'pea thinks that he has forgotten his important job, Peapoddy comes through with a juggling act and a 'plosion of peas that entertains all. He also shares a riddle that reminds Swee'pea and her friends of the importance of friendship.

In "Cast of Colors" learning about colors takes on a new dimension when Peapoddy shows Swee'pea how to get six colors from three. He uses riddle and rhyme to help her realize that withing the three primary colors, she can create all of the pretty colors of the rainbow. Each time Swee'pea adds a new color to her rainbow, Peapoddy celebrates her discovery by changing colors himself! This story of Peapoddy's magical cast of colors is sure to delight.
