Hello.

I’ve been a freelance illustrator for the last few years, mostly magazine illustrations though I'd like to do more children's illustrations - my two year old has introduced me to a whole new world of picture books.

I grew up in Hertfordshire, England, travelled around a bit, then studied Chinese and Japanese language at Leeds University. After that I ended up working as a Chinese translator in Shanghai for about five years (including a stint translating Marvel and Dark Horse comics, which was great). At the moment I'm still in China, but in a much more scenic bit near Tibet.
