Hi,

I am the mom of 3 wonderful children; as well as Founder of Medically Inspired Reading About Challenging Life Experiences (M.I.R.A.C.L.E.) Online Books, LLC. The concept of M.I.R.A.C.L.E. is based on my personal life experience in dealing with a child who was chronically ill; experiences which lead to me becoming an advocate for children and their families.

In 1985, my daughter Alicia Yvette Day was born with a G.I. duplication which lead to her diagnosis of Short Bowl Syndrome; she died September 21, 1987. After Alicia’s death I found writing to be therapeutic and from that writing I desired to make a difference and assist families during the health and journey of their child.

M.I.R.A.C.L.E. Online Books is an online bookstore, designed to educate and enhance communication and conversation between children and adults. We provide fiction and non-fiction reading materials that will assist in rendering a less traumatic affect when introducing or explaining real-life medical issues to children ranging in ages 3-17 years old.
