Ford Street Publishing

Ford Street is a successful small independent Australian publisher of children’s books. We aim to publish picture books through to young adult fiction that is theme-based, not genre-based, with contemporary issues pertinent and of interest to Australian children to young adults. We have strong presence in the market place through INT Books and Macmillan – major distributors with the ability to ably distribute our books around Australia. INT Books is our exclusive NZ distributor. We have established a profile beyond our size with many reviews in journals, newspapers and on the web. Many titles have been taken up for use in the classroom as our books deal with issues that are of concern to young people.
