PeniG said: Somebody told me this book was bitter. I don't see it. The X-Indian Chronicles, now that was a bitter book! But this didn't make me cry, either. Why not? And isn't giving the NBA to it sort of like being Billionare Ted trying to give back the powwow dress? We crush a minority, give awards to books by a member of that minority who shows us how we do it, then we go on crushing. And who do I mean by "we" here? And why didn't they get a blurb from Cyn Smith? I've looked all over the back of this book and she's not there. It's probably good to come out of this book feeling confused.
