	slholmes said: How lightly she steps through the deep issues in this book! It could have been a minefield but Cynthia Lord avoids every pitfall and brings the reader out the other side with grace. I was especially fond of the brilliant yet subtle metaphor of the various toys in the fish tank and I'm so glad she ended the book with that.
