Join Max in his adventures through Blueberry Bubble Gum World and meet the fascinating creatures who live there-the Blueberry Boy, King Erudition, and the lumpy, moldy green evil Waywards. Will Max learn his lesson and find his way home? Find out in this thrilling journey! Aaliyah: This book was super funny! My favorite part was where Max tooted and a giant bubble came out of his pajama pants! I didn’t like how Max’s friend Berry didn’t say anything when he left and didn’t wish Max luck. Christina: I liked this book! It was so funny when Max was flying in the air with the giant bubble coming out of him! I didn’t like the Waywards because they were mean. I want them to make more books, like about strawberry bubble gum, orange bubble gum and watermelon bubble gum. Mom: This was a cute story, although I felt it was a little long to hold their attention through the whole thing. I also felt that some of the pictures were drawn with very dark colors and it made it hard to distinguish some of the objects in them. I didn’t like the old blueberry bubble gum kings name as I thought the meaning was lost on the kids, especially when one of the other characters was named Berry. Otherwise it was a good story with a good lesson.
