5 Stars- Super Duper Deductive Detective Work!
Detective Duck gets a call from Owl, the night watchman. Somebody stole one of the cakes from the cake contest! Who could it have been? In order to find out, you have to do some Deductive Detective work. Detective Duck is on his way to solve the case.
From the start, Miles insisted that Owl stole the cake. But we cannot spoil the fun for you! There are twelve animals, which are the suspects. You will have to deduct one animal from the list as soon as Detective Ducks clears them from stealing the cake. Detective Duck works hard to find each clue that the thief had left behind in hopes to find out who took off with the cake!
Parents will love this book not only because their children will love it but because it will teach your child to subtract, one problem at a time. Not to mention there are super awesome learning activities at the back of the book called Deductive Reasoning and some Compare and Contrast the Animals.
It just so happened that I found the illustrator, Sherry Rogers, on Facebook one day. When I saw this book cover I knew we had to have this book. Then I teamed up with Sylvan Dell Publishing and found that THIS was where Deductive Detective was published!! SCORE! Everyone needs to have this book. It is perfect for all ages. A great laugh and marvelous artwork by Sherry Rogers!
