Poor Maggie goes through so much strife after marrying Justin and then again when she moves to a friends family members ranch to work as a cook and Justin shows up again, I cried my eyes out at the fear she must have felt when he knocked her down the stairs and caused her to go into labor ahead of time. This book was so gut wrenching for me to read, but it was a book that I couldn't put down because I was so hoping Maggie would finally find happiness somehow. Without ruining the book for those that haven't read it yet, it's the perfect sequel and will keep you sitting on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen with Maggie's life next! I cannot wait to read the next one in the trilogy. Fabulous job once again Melva Henderson!! :)
