There are several things in this book that I like. I really like the illustrations because they are colorful, imaginative, and fun. Since this is two books in one, it is more fun to read a story within a story. I really enjoyed the sing song rhyming feeling of the book because it gives it a tempo. One of my favorite things about this story is the funny surprise ending.
I think Colin Mcnaughton's message in this book is that what is considered fiction to some folks, may actually be the truth for someone else.
