He writes about more serious feelings, “Sometimes I feel scared,” and “Sometimes I feel lonely,” as well as some humorous feelings such as, “Sometimes I feel like celebrating my birthday even though it’s not today,” and “Sometimes I feel like eating pizza for breakfast.” This book is sure to encourage some laughter and can make for a funny storytime. The cartoon illustrations are nothing more than glorified stick figures, but the vibrant colors are eye-catching and will no doubt entertain its readers and/or listeners. This board book could inspire some fun crafts, even if it’s as simple as asking each student to draw a picture of one of their feelings.
