My favorite line in the book is at the end, and I paraphrase: something like:
He loved both countries. When he was in Japan, he missed the States, and when he was in the States, he missed Japan.
As an army brat, and a traveler, I totally get how the itch to travel always leaves you both unsatisfied, and constantly missing the wheres you love most.
This book inspired me to begin digging through my own life. If only I could illustrate!
