As an Indiana native I grew up in Broad Ripple. In 1993 my wife and I moved to Southern California and I worked in the publishing industry for Malibu and Marvel comics. My career has taken me from print to animation and eventually back to the print world. I am currently working as a free lance artist for licensed children’s books.

Throughout my career I've had the chance to work with some of the leaders in the industry including Stan Lee, Sergio Aragones, Arlene Klasky, Gabor Csupo and Matt Groening. I've also been lucky to have had experience working on a variety of television shows, one feature film and hundreds of printed comics and children's books.

During my employment at Marvel Comics I held the position of Art Director/Manager for the Digital Paint department. The position was responsible for color separations in excess of 70 titles per month and personnel management of 70 employees.

After four years in the comic book industry I switched gears and began my adventure in animation. It was exciting to work in Hollywood on many popular shows including The Rugrats, The Wild Thornberrys, Futurama, Duckman, As Told by Ginger, Rocket Powered and one animated feature film, "The Rugrats (1st) Movie."

Eventually life and family became more important than working 70 hours a week and I started freelancing. I've worked on many lisenced children's books over the past 8 years.

My wife, Jennifer, and I finally moved back to Indiana with our 2 kids, Chloe and Ben. Our house is in the woods and we live with 3 cats, 2 gerbils, a fish without a name, countless raccoons, deer, owls, hawks and 4 million squirrels.
