About Eve
I'm a retired children's librarian, and before that I
was a writing teacher. Being a children's librarian
was a lot more fun! I started writing eons ago
when I was a stay-at-home mom with two small
children. My picture books are out of print, but--oh yes, I write adult poetry, too--I've recently had two poetry chapbooks published.
I like to putter around with watercolors.
I write both picture books and easies.
And, of course, poetry for children.
Last year I had 49 rejections. Pretty impressive,
hmm? Some of them were very nice rejections!
I'm sure this will be the year. Did I mention that I
share a birthday with Grandma Moses, who didn't
get famous until she was 80??? Eve
