Jeanne is an award-winning author. Her first middle grade fantasy, The Sword of Demelza, is an honorary winner of Writer’s Digest 2013 eBook awards. Her book was also a finalist in ForeWord Review’s 2013 Book of the Year, and a Gold Honorary Reward recipient from Ben Franklin Self-Published Digital awards.

She has successfully navigated a course through the difficult and sometimes frustrating world of writing and self-publishing and is more than happy to share her experience with fellow authors. She is familiar with all aspects of social media necessary to successfully self-publish, create an author platform, and market a book. She is active on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, and Goodreads, among others. Jeanne is a member of the Society of Environmental Journalists, the ALA, AIA, CAPA, IBPA, IWC, AAPG, and SCBWI.
