Illustrator Trahern Cook writes whatever he's thinking while he is finding the line
1. Miles to paint, part 7.

"It's there if you're looking for it." Trahern Cook, copyright 2016

Looking for somewhere to paint along the Kings highway in Myrtle Beach, SC. I pass what can only be described as Old Town Myrtle Beach. It is the remaining downtown area of what once was.

I'm called by the light hitting the the angles of the colorful buildings.

I have my coffee. I have my umbrella. It's around 9:00 am, so there's still time to paint outside before the temperature reaches the boiling point. At least my coffee will stay hot. Why do I need hot coffee anyway?

One of the local shop owners by the name of Tom comes out to say hello and offers me cold water if I need it. I will, I tell him because right now I'm drinking hot coffee.

I finish the painting, pack up and enter into Tom's place of business. It's a super cool art and stain glass gallery with Tom's studio located in the back.

When you find yourself in Myrtle Beach, be sure to stop by TomTom Studio and Gallery. You won't find a friendlier person or cooler stained glass art. Thanks for the hospitality Tom.
