This isn’t a traditional, printable Byte. Instead it is the Introduction to our film BugWorld. It was recently nominated for a Best Film Award by Kids First Film Festival - the biggest film festival organization for kids in the world. BugWorld’s category is Educational film for ages 8-12. We’ll be posting segments from the film as time goes by. The awards will be announced in December.
If you are looking for a normal example of a Varmint Byte with book recommendations try some of the earlier entries.

Not a real Byte here but we are proud to announce that our film BugWorld has been nominated as a Best Film by the Kids First Film Festival - the largest film festival for kids in the world.
BugWorld is a 30 minute educational film that gives an accurate yet hilarious look at the most misunderstood creatures on Earth. Using animation, puppetry, music and lots of humor we,the Varmints, get to take kids deep inside the world of bugs. We’ll try to post sections of it here periodically. In the mean time you can check out a trailer at our Youtube Channel.
The winners will be announced in December at the Santa Fe Film Festival. We’ll let you know what happens.
Award-winning film makers… hmmm that’s got a nice ring to it.
