Thoughts from author Ginny Karoub
1. Circumstances Change Everyday…

Circumstances change everyday, you are not your circumstance.
When we ride this wave of life, it seems like from one day to another things change.

Situations arise, circumstances change, a problem occurs, a health issue may be a concern, the list goes on and on.

Life, thank God, goes on and on and that is a good thing. But with our life we have the good and the bad. We have circumstances.

English: Puppy licking a woman's face, while s...

When the bad comes, fear is usually on its wings… what will we do, how are we going to make it, will I ever get over this hurt, when will I be able to pay this debt? Those are the thoughts that fear brings. We fear the unknown.

So, if we are not our circumstances, how do we get around them and move forward.

Circumstances are just that, they are something happening, something that looks a certain way, something that could also be perceived by each individual a totally different way. They are an event, a happening, a way of a situation but they are not YOU.

Don’t let them define you. Today is one thing, tomorrow will be something different.
Change is coming, change will come and before you know it change will be here.

Use the fear part productively. When fear comes with its threat, make your instinct reaction something positive to help protect you. Fear is good if it stirs you up to protect yourself.
Move into the protection mode. Protect your mind, your thoughts and your beliefs.
Move toward the good, change your circumstance by not being them.

I will say it again because we all need to hear this, change your circumstances by not being them!

*We can move forward by first seeing we have the hope that our circumstances can change.
*We are not the circumstance.
*We can stir up our faith and pray.
*We can move in a positive direction by talking a good look at what we need to deal with and
start dealing with it.
*Sometimes listing the positives and checking off the negatives is a good visual.

Just a  few thoughts to get the creative juices following.  And yes, seeing change, seeing our future changes for the good, we need to be creative and sometimes, we need to be the change.

Bills? - Get help with organization and consolidation. A budget and goal chart can help too.

Need a job? - Never give up, keep looking and network with everyone you know. Open yourself up to something new too, it may be time for a change.

Relationships? - Be the person you need to be, the person God created you to be and good relationships will follow. Open yourself up to boundaries, new people, and new activities. You may need to make some changes there to make the circumstances change.

Health? – Get your nutrients, eat whole foods, and research what you eat everyday. You may need to change-up your diet. Get a good doctor who knows nutrition!

Being happy is a choice, not easy, believe it or not, but a choice. You would think we could be a happy person all the time since it is a choice right? Well, sometimes it’s not so easy, but it is a choice you can make.  So choose this day to be happy! Make a list of things that make you happy, and refer back to it at times when you may need a little reminder. We are all human, we all need help and encouragement along the way.

Be ready for that next circumstance by letting it be the circumstance and not you!

“Nothing’s a mistake if you let it serve its purpose.”  ~ Ginny Karoub

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
