I have just finished a MA-degree in Children’s book illustration at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge. And I am curently working with Tell Publishing house in Norway on a edducational set of books as well as working on my own stories.

Backhistory:
I did my BA in fine art at the University of Gloucestershire where I was happily painting away for three years, but as a fellow student of mine pointed out recently, my work always seem to have a story behind it, so the "jump" from fine art to illustration did not seem to strange. To me, both fine art and Illustrations has a lot in common as it is all about trying to create images/stories that will grab and move the viewers, so the media of which it is presented being it a book or in a gallery is all down to the preferred way of working I guess.
I find the process of creating and illustrating a children’s tale very interesting and there is a lot of AHA! moments all the time.
