University of Otago Press publishes about 20 books a year on New Zealand, the Pacific and Asia: ranging from special interest academic works, including textbooks, to general books. The books are distributed in New Zealand ([email protected]), Australia ([email protected]) and North America ([email protected]) and elsewhere ([email protected]). The Press also publishes journals - the arts journal Landfall, the Women's Studies Journal, and Computers in New Zealand Schools - and runs two competitions - the Landfall Essay Prize and the Computer Graphics Competition for schools.
