Susan Katz was once the Camp Fire Girl on the left in the picture. She has remained that age on the inside, though definitely not the outside, and therefore is an author of children's books. Her husband is a retired associate professor of English, and her son works at Villanova University developing open-source software for libraries.

Her most recent books are THE PRESIDENT'S STUCK IN THE BATHTUB, a collection of humorous poems about U.S. presidents, (Clarion. February, 2012) and the humorous sci-fi e-book, FLAT LIKE FRED, about 12-year-old inventor, Fred Floodle, and his accidental trip to the planet Bovine (where the cow who jumped over the moon landed).
