About Blake

Blake A. Hoena grew up in central Wisconsin, where, in his youth, he wrote stories about robots conquering the Moon and trolls lumbering around in the woods behind his parent's house—and the fact that the trolls were hunting for little boys had nothing to do with his pesky brothers. Later, in order to chase after that elusive writing career, Blake moved Minnesota to pursue a Masters of Fine Art... More

On March 28th, I'll be signing books at the Coughlan Publishing/Stone Arch Books booth at PLA, which is in Minneapolis this year.

If you're there, stop by and say hello.

Those photos of you at the Young Writers conference are great, Blake! Are you doing school visits too? You'd be a natural - but I'm sure you've barely enough time with all the great projects on your plate. Looking forward to more Eek and Ack adventures.

Hi, Blake! Thanks for the welcome. Any cool suggestions on who to friend?
Comment by Michael Burgan on 1/16/2008 at 1:27 PM:
Blake,

Thanks for the kudos on the book. I thought both Drac and Frank came out well.

Yah!... the web page looks cool! Pretty happy with the book too!... although they still have my bio saying I live in Rochester NY! It will be fun to push that book along with Windmill this summer... I also have my first picture book coming out! Hope all is well with you!

Hey man, cool that you made a profile on here. You should push for Stone Arch to set up a 'publisher's page' as well. You books look great!
