I am the author of "Doozy, the Lonely Firefly" and this is the first in my collection of Doozy and Thoozy Children's Books. I have been writing most of my life. This is my first book that I have published though. The only thing I regret is that I never published sooner than 2006. I love to write about anything, but I focus most of all on children's books and poetry. I also write non-fiction, and other stories like fantasy and romance. I love romantic settings in the 1800's era. However, I also work as a staff reporter in my daily job. I love it. I feel if I have an opportunity to write, then I am blessed. My writing began as a hobby and still is I guess. I am happy to say that I now write as a career as well. I just have a passion for writing and creating. Making your thoughts come alive and for others to read and see is a good feeling. it is a wonderful feeling to see a child smile at my book signings when Doozy, the Lonely Firefly becomes their own. I live my life on faith and believe that God is my source for everything.
