My first book, The Cancer Prayer Book has been released and is ready for order at www.dreamwordspublishing.com I write health/educational material but my passion is to write for children. I am currently working on a series for kids weaving first aid with a fictional character whose name has changed several times throughout the drafts. I also have a picture book for children 4-8 about a fictional character who is dealing with cancer. As a pediatric critical care nurse, I find a lack of funny, realistic, yet informative books for kids dealing with illnesses that kids can read and relate to. It is my goal to put into words the feelings children have when they deal with real life issues yet still entertain and inspire.
