I'm also a mom with two big kids (in college), married for 30+ years to a very supportive guy. Besides books, I love to travel (a LOT) and go to the movies... More

Hi Sylvia! I hope you're having a relaxing summer. I am hoping that you might have some time to give me feedback on my poetry? I've had friends and family read them, but would like an expert opinion. I read them on this site, but I could also send you a written copy.

Hi Sylvia,
If you have some time, I would really appreciate feedback on my poems, from someone who knows children's literature and poetry as you do. Comments or constructive criticism :)
Thanks!
Carrie

How nice to see that there's a children's literature program in Denton. I used to teach at what is now University of North Texas. Looks like you commute!
Also, I just read your blog entry about the poetry book by Mado translated by the Empress. Lovely.
