I live in sunny Florida! I am a librarian with the unique opportunity to work in a variety of settings. I am a full-time school librarian in a K-12 school. I also work as an adjunct librarian at a blended community (city branch) and academic library. I love working with children, the public and college students. I really do not have a preference.

I am also a busy mom of 5 children as well. I have 4 daughters and 1 son. My oldest will be 11 and my youngest is 2 1/2. I am a big fan of YA fiction and just plain love reading.

I have many favorite authors, but if I had to choose: Neil Gaimann, Susan Beth Pfeffer and Vivian Vande Velde are my favorite contemporary authors. I am also a fan of James Thurber and Howard Fast. But really I have many, many, more favorites and love discovering books while working in the library and hope to discover a world of authors and books here to share with my children, students and patrons!
