I am a Glaswegian, though now live in Peebles with my wife Anne. I learned about creative writing at Glasgow University and novel writing at Strathclyde University. I studied psychology at UMIST and have a deep interest in how people behave when faced with moral dilema. My first book, The Sawman was published in 2006 and I appeared at Edinburgh Internation Book Festival in the same year. The Sawman is the first in a series of stories featuring my protagonist, Robbie Ahearn, a profiler. In the Sawman I try to compel my readers to participate in resolving the moral dilemma faced by Robbie. My second story is finished but I am looking for a publisher who specailises in Crime fiction.
