Let me introduce myself. Simply put I love to write, especially for children.

When my children were young they loved to be read to, they especially liked when their names or something familiar was in the book. I began telling them stories that I created using them as the characters. This went over big with them and they wanted to hear more!

At times my kids would ask some interesting questions and because I wanted to explain accurately I sometimes would tell them in a whimsical way they could understand.

I feel rhyming books are a great way for children to learn to read. By hearing the words flow in a rhyming way will help them to remember and eventually recognize the similar spelling, thus helping them to read.

I don’t ever expect to win a Pulitzer Prize for my writing venture but I strive to win the heart's and minds of your children.
